This is a scenic 5k race on road and trail. It has been organized taking into account the current COVID-19 situation and, as such, the early morning start and rural setting aim to give runners the opportunity to enjoy racing again in a safe and healthy way. It is a requirement that all runners and officials are fully vaccinated and runners will also be required to take a PCR test within 48 hours of the start. We have worked hard to ensure that we meet all current government guidelines and to provide a safe environment for everyone and we have already received permission from The Home Affairs Bureau to hold the race. Please take particular note of our COVID Precautions HERE and follow any instructions from marshals on the day.
- DATE: 7am, Sunday, 3rd October 2021
- COURSE: Hilly 5k on road and trail. Starting and finishing at Wanchai Gap Playground.
- ENTRY FEE: $120
- VACCINATION CERTIFICATES: Must be uploaded during registration.
- COVID TESTING: Runners will be required to show evidence of a negative COVID 19 test taken within 48 hours of the race start. This must be shown at bib pick up on race day.
- HEALTH DECLARATION: AVOHK health declaration must also be completed and submitted on race day.
- PRIZES: The winner of each category will receive a medal and a prize.
- If T8, Red Rainstorm or Black Rainstorm signals are hoisted by 6am on race day, the race will be cancelled. AVOHK operates a “no refund policy”. Once your entry is accepted, your entry is non-refundable and non -transferable.
