Participant Waiver and code of conduct during COVID pandemic
for Women Run Strong sessions 2022
I know that run training is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. By my registration, I certify that I am medically able to train, and am in good health. I take part in the training under my sole responsibility and at my own risk. I release the organizer from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this training course, whatever the damage suffered.
In case of an accident, I accept to exclude any liability of the organisers, its officers, employees, agents, auxiliaries, volunteers to the full extent permitted by law.
I note that Women Run Strong reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. WRS may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by WRS including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc. To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information.
COVID – code of conduct
I agree to follow all government guidelines in relations to Covid-19, in particular I undertake not to attend any sessions of WRS training should I feel unwell, or if anyone in my household/close contacts have Covid or are in isolation because of it.
I will abide by this code of conduct for training sessions
- Keep a 2m distance where possible.
- Where possible, avoid touching surfaces or touching my mouth and face.
- Carry hand sanitiser
- Not congregate after the session
- Respect other users of the paths/trails and nearby parking
